Country Manager, Chroma Hospitality

James brings to his position 24 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to being the Country Manager of Chroma Hospitality, James has worked as the Area General Manager, overseeing the properties under the Crimson and Quest brands. Being a veteran in hotel operations and management, his experience spans a wide range of hotels in various countries such as the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia and Switzerland. These hotel brands include Hotel Equatorial, Marco Polo, Mandarin Oriental, Shangri-La, The Westin, Hyatt Continental Montreux and Hotel Ascot.

Chroma Hospitality, Inc. is a forward-thinking young management company crafting bold, innovative hospitality brands. Headquartered at the Filinvest Corporate City in the southern region of Metro Manila, it is redefining hospitality in the Philippines and beyond. Chroma owns and operates the Crimson Hotels and Resorts properties (Crimson Hotel Filinvest City Manila, Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan and the highly anticipated Crimson Resort and Spa Boracay opening in 2017) as well as the Quest Hotel and Conference Center in Cebu City and Clark, Pampanga. The company is currently managing 1,365 rooms and 10 active projects growing their portfolio to a key count of 2,700 by year 2019.

James earned his diploma in Hospitality Management at Les Roches International School of Hotel Management at Bluche, Crans-Montana, Valais, Switzerland and enhanced his management skills at the Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.
